Executive Director

Darrell Smith

Darrell Smith, SEATA Executive Director, was born in Thomasville, Ga. and retired from the Florida Department of Revenue. In his free time, he plays golf (we're fairly certain this is a prerequisite for becoming SEATA Executive Director), is active with his church, and works in his yard.

Darrell is part of a very large family – his wife has two daughters from a previous marriage, and he has six grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. When asked if he has any talents, the first that springs to mind for him is that he is "anal-retentive and OCD." Though others involved with SEATA may call this something other than a talent, "It means I'm meticulous," he laughed.
