Even if there weren't a million other reasons to visit the beautiful Commonwealth of Virginia, there would still be this: the golf lover's prime choice, Kingsmill. The SEATA Golf Tournament will be held at this most famous of courses, located directly across the street from the conference hotel.

A little bit about Kingsmill
The Kingsmill Resort and Spa River Course is one of the most famous in Virginia. It was home to the PGA's Anheuser-Busch Golf Classic for 15 years, and it now hosts the LPGA's Michelob Ultra Championships. Back in the days of the PGA, its 17th hole was the famous object of affection for “Curtis' Strange Navy,” golfer Curtis Strange's group of fans that would sit on the river on boats and watch the golfers play that hole.
Jeffrey Rendall, editor of GolfTheMidAtlantic.com, said of Kingsmill: “The River Course is a Pete Dye layout that takes ample advantage of everything the Kingsmill property has to offer — serene wooded glades, deep ravines, the banks of the James River and some serious historical significance to produce a magnificent and memorable golf course.”

The Tournament
The tournament will be a four-man Captain's Choice, with at least two flights, depending on the number of participants. It will be held Sunday, July 13, and feature an 8:30 AM shotgun start. Cost is $135 per person, which includes green fee, cart and range balls.
