Ms. Gorman serves as Deputy Commissioner of the Mississippi State Tax Commission. She has over 30 years experience with the agency, having previously served as Director of the Office of Administrative Services, Director of the Income and Franchise Tax Bureau, and as a Tax Auditor. She holds three professional certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), and Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM).
Alice currently serves as the First Vice President of the Southeastern Association of Tax Administrators (SEATA) and on the Board of Directors of the National Alcohol Beverage Control Association (NABCA). She also serves on the Boards of Directors for the Riggs Manor Retirement Center, the Frances Rushton Memorial Scholarship Trust, and the Clinton Community Nature Center, and is an active member of First United Methodist Church in Clinton, Miss.
