While Mom and Dad are off shopping and playing golf, they can truly relax -- every Youth event will be carefully chaperoned. For most events, each professional chaperone will take charge of only five children.

Though the Youth might argue otherwise, being closely supervised does not mean they can't enjoy Williamsburg thoroughly. The following schedules will ensure they have an experience they'll be text-messaging their friends about for years to come.

Registration Options - SEATA Youth and SEATA Youth 'Light'**

We suggest that you register your Youth for the entire Youth program – all three events – and make sure they don’t miss a thing! If you prefer, however, you can also take advantage of a second option we've just added to accomodate as many attendees as possible. You now have the option to register them for the “light” version of the Youth program, which includes just the Colonial Williamsburg scavenger hunt on Sunday, and the boardwalk-style carnival on Tuesday.

Sunday, July 13 (Evening)**

The Youth will begin their exploration of Colonial Williamsburg in a motor coach. Tour guides will weave tales of olden-day Williamsburg as the motor coach travels past important landmarks. Once they arrive in Colonial Williamsburg, Youth will divide into teams, and begin an old-fashioned scavenger hunt with their guide. They'll learn all about Williamsburg's historic past as they search for clues to special items, then return to the hotel for a scavenger hunt awards ceremony. Afterwards, while the Youth await their parents' return, computer games, crafts and movies will be available, and a snack will be provided.

Monday, July 14

Another day of historic exploration awaits your child as she explores Yorktown and Jamestown. Tour guides will escort small groups around the Jamestown Settlement, where Youth will visit indoor museum galleries, artifacts, and exhibits. They will then return to the great outdoors, where they will watch costumed interpreters recreate the details of the daily lives of 17th-Century Americans, and board recreations of the Godspeed, Discovery, and Susan Constant, the ships that carried settlers to the "New World."

After their tour of Jamestown, the Youth will again board the motor coach for transportation to Yorktown. While en route, boxed lunches will be served. Once they arrive at Yorktown, the Youth will begin the second half of their day of exploration. They'll visit educational exhibits and see the outdoor "living history" of the War for Independence that only Yorktown can provide, then return to the hotel to reunite with their parents.

Tuesday, July 15**

Yesterday was all about history -- so today is all about fun!

There are no planned events for the Youth until 5 p.m. today, so there's an ample amount of free time to explore with Mom or Dad. It's the perfect day for an escape to nearby theme parks Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. Your spouse and your child can spend the whole day riding rides, seeing shows, and shopping for old-world mementos at Busch Gardens, or riding the waves at Water Country. And since it's all on their own time, there's no hassle of keeping up with a group. Though there's no sponsored Youth activity during the day, shuttle transportation will be available from the hotel to many local tourist attractions, including Busch Gardens.

If they manage to return to the hotel by 5 p.m., your spouse can rest and enjoy some alone time while your child is rewarded with activities that include dinner and a boardwalk-style carnival. The Youth will munch on popcorn, get sticky with cotton candy, play games and regale one another with tales of the rollercoaster they mastered earlier in the day at Busch Gardens.

**SEATA Youth Light program includes only the Sunday and Tuesday evening meals and activities.
